Frito Lay NorCal Region Distribution Center

In February 1965, Frito-Lay and Pepsi-Cola merged to become PepsiCo, Inc.  At the time of the merger, Frito-Lay owned 46 manufacturing plants and had more than 150 distribution centers nationwide.

Frito-Lay's regional distribution centers act as central hubs for products to be sent to specific geographic markets. All products are warehoused in these centers and distributed via truck by Route Sales Managers.   

Today, Frito-Lay has more than fifteen $100 million brands including LAY’S ® , CHEE TOS® , Doritos® , SUNCHIPS® , Fruit & Oatmeal Bars® , and RUFFLES®.  Another franchise product, the Fritos Original Corn Chips, celebrated its 75th anniversary.
